Campaign Details
The July Bonus Day is designed to celebrate high-dollar donors and help GlobalGiving partners move smaller-dollar donors up to new giving heights. Accordingly, only donations of $100 USD and up will count on Bonus Day. The higher the donation, the higher the match!
We encourage you to mobilize donors to give early because matching funds will likely run out before the end of the day. It is important to note that the donor must make donations. GlobalGiving will monitor and proactively disqualify donations assumed to be pre-collected or combined.
Organization & Project Eligibility
All Partners, Leaders, and Superstar organizations banked outside India are eligible for this campaign.

All Partners, Leaders, and Superstar organizations are eligible to participate in the campaign. Emerging organizations and GlobalGiving-sponsored projects and Funds are ineligible to participate in this campaign.
Each participating organization is limited to a maximum of three projects displayed on the campaign leaderboard. Only projects that are marked as active on GlobalGiving’s website will be eligible. When submitting the opt-in form, the three projects selected for the leaderboard must be specified. Projects exceeding the specified limit will not be eligible for inclusion on the leaderboard.
Organizations opting into the 2024 July Bonus Day campaign must confirm their understanding and acceptance of the opt-in requirement and the project limit on the leaderboard.
Deadline to submit new projects, project edits, project reports, and project appeals: June 27, 2024, at 5:00 pm EST

Dates & Deadlines
GlobalGiving’s July Bonus Day 2024 campaign will begin on July 10, 2024, at 09:00:00 EDT and will end when matching funds run out, or on July 10, 2024, at 23:59:59 EDT, whichever comes first.
Organizations must submit an opt-in form no later than July 3, 2024, at 17:00:00 EDT in order to participate in the campaign.
Disbursement of funds raised and awarded in this campaign will be included in the usual monthly disbursement process.
Matching Funds
The July Bonus Day 2024 campaign will have a Matching Fund of $100,000 USD.
While funds remain, the following matching structure will apply:
Donations of $100 - $499 USD will be matched at 20%
Donations of $500 - $749 USD will be matched at 30%
Donations of $750 - $1,000 USD will be matched at 40%
Donations will be matched based on the order in which they are received while funds last. Remaining funds will be displayed on the leaderboard throughout the campaign and updated every 3 minutes.
Limitations
Donations must be at least $100 USD in order to be matched while funds last. Donations under $100 USD will not be matched and will not appear on the leaderboard as funds raised.
Donations above $1,000 USD will be matched on the first $1,000 USD while funds last. The match offer is restricted to donations made by unique donors per organization.
Each organization can receive a maximum of $2,000 USD in total Matching Funds to benefit as many partners as possible.
Verification
Unique donors are determined using numerous criteria, including name, email address, credit card number, mailing address, and IP address. We are monitoring these and other parameters in our system to ensure that only distinct donors are counted.
For the purposes of calculating matching amounts, donations made in other currencies will be converted to USD. The exchange rate will be estimated at the time of the donation, but may be subject to change until the donation settles with the donor’s bank or credit card. Funds will be disbursed using the exchange rate based on the settlement value of each transaction.
In your GlobalGiving donation manager, donations that count towards your total raised during the July Bonus Day 2024 campaign (based on the time the donation was made and the method of payment) will be marked with a plus sign.
GlobalGiving reserves the right to make final decisions on all matters concerning the allocation of the Matching Fund.
Donation Methods & Eligibility
Please note that all donations are final. GlobalGiving cannot change the time, date, or status of a donation after it is processed for any reason.
Any activity not in the spirit of requesting separate individuals to support donations is being moderated by GlobalGiving and GlobalGiving reserves the right to permanently disqualify organizations for any attempts of misconduct.

Ineligible Donations
Donations received via any other methods will not count towards your total raised during the July Bonus Day 2024 campaign. Ineligible donation methods include, but are not limited to: corporate gift cards, physical checks, cash donations, wire transfers, CAF checks and CAF Online, donations made on a GlobalGiving corporate or organizational giving site, and donations made directly to an organization rather than a project

Tax Efficiency
GlobalGiving is a registered nonprofit charity in the United States and England and Wales. Donations made by eligible donors in the United States can be claimed as tax deductible contributions on United States tax returns. Donations made by eligible donors in the United Kingdom can claim Gift Aid (an extra 25% added to eligible donations by the UK Government) when they donate in GBP.
Fulfillment Fee
GlobalGiving charges a minimal nonprofit support fee plus a 3% processing fee. For US and UK registered organizations, the nonprofit support fee is 5%; for organizations outside the US and UK, it is 7%. During the July Bonus Day 2024 campaign, the fee only applies to the initial donation and not to bonus prizes or matching funds earned. The fee helps cover the costs we incur to promote your organization and projects, to provide you with fundraising training and tools, and to maintain and improve our online technology in order to keep you connecting with new donors.
